A question no ones asked to my knowledge. If you had the choice of these two masterpieces, which would you take and why? Are you on Team Mavis, with it’s epic WWII PT boat sourced 1500hp 42L Packard V12? Or Team Brutus and it’s BMW 46L V12 with 75 0hp?
I’m on Team Mavis.

Hard choice. Mavis is sleek and in the spirit of the times, Brutus is compellingly primitive and potentially more like an actual racer
. Mavis has more power, but Brutus can’t even put all the power it has down so it’s something of a wash. Mavis has better chassis balance but higher risk of gassing the driver, Brutus will understeer (but do it more gradually with so much front wheel weight) and has better exhaust, but is more likely to dump oil spray or suffer a Zborowski-style chain incident.

I’ll take double the hp with essentially the same displacement for 500, Alex.

What I learned today was that engines from WWII are the bestest.
Bestest looks and bestest sound.
I need to buy another lottery ticket so I can win millions and buy a lakefront house and have my WWII PT boat docked and ready for leisure cruises.

Mavis because that little rudder really makes it look far more fleshed out than the Brutus.

Brutus, because airplane engine > boat engine
